Job Description

Kennel Technician- Patient Care in Pet Resort Brazos Valley Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is a small animal hospital and pet resort located in South College Station. We are looking for a self driven and hard working individual with a love of animals to join our resort team. We are hiring full time or part time, with a minimum of 30 hours a week and rotating weekend availability for 2-3 weekends a month. Previous experience working as a kennel/boarding technician position is preferred. Scheduling can be flexible around class schedules.
Kennel Technician Roles:
Following individual feeding and medication schedules for boarding pets. Walking and playing with the boarding and daycare dogs / cats Sanitizing dog runs and cat condos Check-in and discharge boarding patients Daily client communication with pet owners providing pet updates Maintaining an organized and clean environment Scheduling and confirming boarding reservations Monitoring behavior and health of dogs and cats daily Occasionally help bathe dogs for the groomer. Schedule:
Alternating weekend shifts required ( 2 -3 a month) Approximately 30-40 hours/week
