Overview As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will be the heartbeat of our vibrant daycare environment, ensuring that every furry guest enjoys a safe, fun, and enriching experience. You'll engage with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, providing attentive care while fostering a playful atmosphere. Your role is crucial in maintaining the well-being of our canine companions and delivering exceptional customer service to their owners. What you'll do Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime to ensure safety and enjoyment for all pets. Administer basic training techniques to reinforce positive behavior and socialization among dogs. Monitor the health and behavior of each dog, reporting any concerns to management or veterinary staff. Maintain cleanliness in play areas, kennels, and feeding stations to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, rinsing, and nail trimming if needed. Communicating effectively with team about the dog's day. Handle heavy lifting when moving supplies or assisting with larger breeds during playtime. Collaborate with team members to create a nurturing environment that promotes fun and safety. Experience Previous experience in dog handling or animal care is strongly preferred. Familiarity with dog training techniques or veterinary practices is a plus. Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant will enhance your ability to monitor pet health effectively. Background in pet grooming or pet sitting can contribute to your success in this role.
