Your responsibilities will include bathing dogs to ensure they look and feel their best, while also managing front-desk duties that keep our shop running smoothly. Duties Perform dog bathing, pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and animal restraint to ensure each pet's comfort and safety Handle pet care tasks such as animal handling, animal restraint, and assisting with pet sitting or kennel duties Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and well-organized Greet clients warmly upon arrival, schedule appointments, and manage check-in/check-out procedures at the reception desk Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding pet care instructions and grooming needs. Heavy lifting of animals or supplies may be required; maintain a safe environment for pets and staff alike Qualifications Prior experience in pet grooming, pet coat styling, or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and canine behavior management is beneficial Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with pet owners Ability to handle animals safely and confidently using animal restraint techniques Experience with kennel operations, pet sitting, or animal care roles is advantageous Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods is essential Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude toward teamwork and client service Join us in creating happy pets and satisfied clients!
