The schedule will be Thursday through Saturday, between 8am & 5pm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and grooming, with experience in handling a variety of dogs. This role involves ensuring the comfort and safety of our furry clients. The Pet Bather will play a vital role in maintaining the health and appearance of pets, contributing to their overall well-being and happiness. A good bath is the foundation of a great groom. Responsibilities Bathing, drying and if needed brushing dogs with attention to detail Safely restraining animals during grooming procedures to ensure their safety and comfort Maintaining cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment Monitoring animals for signs of distress or health issues during grooming sessions Heavy lifting of animals or equipment when necessary to facilitate grooming or cleaning tasks Requirements Prior experience as a Dog Bather is necessary Strong animal care skills of all sizes and breeds of dogs preferred Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during grooming sessions A genuine love for animals combined with a responsible attitude towards their well-being
