Responsibilities Assist professional groomers by preparing dogs for grooming, including bathing, drying, and brushing. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and security during grooming procedures. Support pet coat styling and pet grooming tasks under supervision, ensuring high-quality results. Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and provide updates on the grooming process. Help with animal care routines such as pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and basic veterinary-related tasks when necessary. Assist with kennel cleaning, animal handling during drop-off and pick-up, and heavy lifting of supplies or equipment as needed. Qualifications Passionate about animal care with prior experience in dog handling or pet grooming preferred but not necessary. Knowledge of dog training, animal restraint, and pet coat styling is highly desirable. Experience working with veterinary or veterinary technician backgrounds is a plus. Strong communication skills to engage with pet owners confidently and professionally. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle animals of various sizes comfortably.
