Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Dog Groomer who wants strong earning potential, a sustainable schedule, an established client base, and a genuine path into grooming leadership. We are hiring because demand exceeds our current grooming capacity - not because we need someone to build a book from zero. The core schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday with approximately 10-hour mobile grooming days. Three days is the minimum commitment. Additional Monday and/or Saturday production can be added based on the groomer's goals, skill set, leadership ability and business demand. A strong candidate can build a three-, four- or five-day schedule without being forced into unnecessary days. Expected earning opportunity is approximately $50,000-$75,000+ depending on schedule, production and commission level, plus tips and benefits. Starting commission is 30% of gross grooming services and grooming add-ons; service fees are excluded. Our production KPI is approximately $1,000 per grooming day, supported by established demand, thoughtful scheduling and bather assistance. Exceptional groomers may qualify for commission up to 35% based on sustained production, reliability, client engagement, leadership and team development. Groomers retain 100% of tips when working independently or while training a bather. Once an established bather is independently performing full bather prep, tips are shared 75% groomer / 25% bather. Bather support is a major part of our model: it is designed to help the groomer complete more skilled grooming production in the same day while doing less washing, drying, cleaning and repetitive support work personally. Benefits include health-plan enrollment eligibility at 90 days, company premium contribution beginning at six months based on groomer level, and proportionally accrued PTO. The company supplies the mobile van, dryers, shampoos/conditioners and major equipment. Groomers supply their own professional small hand tools and must be willing to obtain a small number of required tools if needed to meet company brand standards. We are looking for a skilled, kind, efficient team player who can groom dogs and applicable cats, communicate professionally with clients, complete reports/follow-up, work well with a bather, protect safety and quality, and help us build a great grooming team. Lead Groomer opportunity is real for someone who can produce, mentor and grow with us.
