Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and providing top-notch care in a kennel environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the appropriate staff
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and administering medications to animals as needed
- Interact with pet owners in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior
Experience:
- Previous experience in pet care, such as pet sitting or animal handling, is preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal care techniques and behaviors
- Customer service skills to interact effectively with pet owners
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is a plus
