We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a love for animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.Duties:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trimming
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Handle animals with care and compassion, using proper restraint techniques when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests and preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from pet owners
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any abnormalities to management
- Stay up-to-date with the latest grooming techniques and trends in the industry
Skills:
- Previous experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred
- Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Familiarity with veterinary practices and procedures is a plus
- Ability to provide gentle animal restraint when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Knowledge of pet care, including nutrition, exercise, and basic health needs
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality grooming services
