Summary As a Pet Grooming assistant at A Glawmorous Pet Pawlor, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of pets, providing them with grooming services that enhance their health and appearance. This position is vital to our mission of delivering top-notch pet care while ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mobile grooming unit before and after each appointment. Handle pets safely and compassionately during grooming sessions to ensure their comfort. Keep accurate records of services performed and any special notes regarding each pet. Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred. Strong customer service skills to build rapport with clients and their pets. Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques. Ability to lift heavy animals as needed during grooming sessions. Certification as a veterinary technician or similar qualification is a plus but not required.
