Job Summary Join our dynamic pet care team as a Dog Bather, where your passion for animals and attention to detail will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing professional bathing services that keep dogs looking and feeling their best. Your expertise will ensure each pet receives gentle handling, thorough cleaning, and a positive experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals, develop your skills in pet care, and contribute to the happiness of our furry clients and their owners. Responsibilities Safely handle dogs of various breeds and temperaments Perform bathing, drying, brushing, anal glands, and ear cleaning to meet breed standards and owner preferences Maintain a clean and organized bathing area, including sanitation of tools and workspaces Assess each dog's coat condition and skin health, reporting any concerns to owner when necessary Handle heavy lifting of animals or equipment safely to prevent injury and ensure efficient workflow Qualifications Prior experience in pet bathing is preferred but not mandatory Strong animal handling skills with patience and compassion for pets of all sizes and temperaments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in a physically active environment Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners This is a 1099 job!!!
