Job Summary Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Daycare and Pet Boarding Attendant, where your enthusiasm for animals and dedication to their well-being will shine! In this energetic role, you will provide exceptional care for dogs and other pets, ensuring they are safe, happy, and comfortable during their stay. Your proactive approach will help create a positive environment that pet owners trust and appreciate. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals while developing valuable skills in animal handling, customer service, and facility maintenance. Duties Supervise and engage with dogs during daycare sessions, encouraging socialization and playtime in a safe, controlled environment Assist with pet boarding by feeding, administering medication if needed, and monitoring pets' health and behavior Handle animal restraint safely during grooming, veterinary procedures, or cleaning routines Maintain cleanliness of the facility by sanitizing kennels, play areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' activities and well-being Assist with pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing to keep animals comfortable and looking their best Support outdoor activities and exercise routines to promote physical activity and mental stimulation for pets Skills Experience with veterinary procedures or as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly valued for understanding animal health needs Strong animal handling skills including dog training, animal restraint, and behavior management Previous kennel or pet sitting experience demonstrating responsibility in caring for animals of various sizes and temperaments Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting when moving supplies or large animals safely Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Knowledge of pet grooming techniques and animal care best practices Outdoor work experience preferred for supervising outdoor play areas and ensuring safety in all environments Commitment to facility sanitization standards to maintain a clean, safe pet care environment This role is perfect for passionate animal lovers eager to make a difference in pets' lives while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic setting. Pay:
