Availability to work some holidays is required Overnight sitters must be comfortable staying overnight in clients' homes This role requires reliability and commitment on scheduled days. It is not an on-call or day-to-day flexible position. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Previous experience working with animals preferred Pet First Aid & CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Ability to successfully complete a background check Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance required Smartphone with unlimited data and a high-quality camera Ability to walk for extended periods of time in all weather conditions Ability to climb stairs Strong verbal and written communication skills Dog walkers must be available a minimum of 10 hours per week between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM Candidates with at least 6 midday hours plus morning and/or evening availability may be considered What Makes This Role Rewarding Working with Furbabies RVA means becoming someone the pets trust and pet parents rely on.
