Healthy Hound Playground and Grooming in Sterling is seeking a Dog Bather & Daycare Attendant to join our Sterling, VA location! The salon is large, beautiful, and equipped with the latest equipment. The Daycare Attendant position will be hourly. The Dog Bather position will be hourly plus tips. Part Time or Full Time folks are welcome to apply. You will have direct interaction with customers therefore we are looking for a well spoken, polished individual that genuinely cares about dogs, is passionate about the art of grooming, and wants to provide a top notch customer experiences https://healthyhoundplayground.com/doggy-spa/ Shifts typically run from 7am-1pm and 1pm-7pm with some flexibility when completing bathing. Dog Daycare Attendant Responsibilities Monitoring the day care room to ensure all dogs are playing safely and behaving properly Monitoring dogs during outdoor potty breaks Training to learn our methods and standards for safety Playing with dogs when the situation calls for it Feeding dogs Cleaning tasks as necessary Comforting dogs that are stressed Bather Responsibilities Wash, dry, brush comb, clean ears and trim nails of the animals as required Retrieve/return animals from the daycare and boarding rooms Clean and disinfect all grooming equipment, kennels, crates and tables Regular end of day cleaning duties typical to any grooming salon Deep cleaning duties typical to any grooming salon Perform additional duties as assigned Maintain full knowledge of and conduct yourself according to HHP procedures and policies

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
