DOG UNIVERSITY
in Vienna, VA has immediate openings for Doggy Day Care Team Members. Both full and part time positions are available. Excellent for people who need flexible scheduling! A patient and caring attitude and the ability to multi task in an environment full of distractions is a must. Willingness to learn new skills, follow instructions carefully, and work respectfully as part of a team is also required. This is an entry level position with true potential for advancement. We only promote from within . Nearly everyone at Dog University started in the Kennel position :) Responsibilities Active supervision of group play. Cleaning. Feeding and medications for boarding and daycare dogs. Cleaning. Basic dog grooming such as nail trims, baths and de-shedding treatments. More cleaning. Education regarding dog behavior and health Poop pick up! Position requires some period of time being outside with the dogs in cold and hot weather. We will train you! Clean a little more... Skills Experience with dog handling, training, or pet grooming preferred Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles is highly advantageous Knowledge of pet care routines including feeding, medication administration, and hygiene practices Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for cleaning supplies or animal equipment Compassionate attitude combined with attention to detail ensures high-quality animal care Join us if you're passionate about animal welfare and eager to make a positive impact on pets' lives!
