Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dog Bather to join our professional pet grooming team. This is a fast-paced, high-volume position where you will comfortably and safely bathe 15 to 18 dogs of all sizes daily. Our ideal candidate is passionate about dogs, highly efficient, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. Daily shifts conclude once all scheduled dogs have been bathed and the bathing and drying area is fully cleaned and sanitized. Duties Safely handle dogs of all breeds and temperaments during bathing and drying processes. Restrain animals safely using appropriate animal restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety. Maintain the cleanliness of bathing and drying areas to uphold hygiene standards. Handle heavy lifting when necessary for managing tubs or equipment setup to ensure an efficient workflow. Qualifications 1+ years of professional dog bathing experience is required. Comfortable and confident working with dogs that may require special handling or specialized restraint techniques. Ability to lift and handle dogs weighing up to 50 lbs safely and comfortably. Reliable, adaptable, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a cooperative team attitude.
Schedule & Hours Work Days:
Wednesday through Saturday (Our salon hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; availability on these specific days is required).
Shift Details:
Shifts begin promptly at 8:30 AM .
Duration:
Approximately 4 to 5 hours per day, 4 days a week .
Shift Completion:
This is a task-based shift. Your workday is complete once all scheduled dogs have been bathed and the bathing/drying areas are thoroughly cleaned.
Pay:
$17.13 - $26.00 per hour
