In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing top-quality grooming services, ensuring the safety and happiness of our furry clients during their daycare visits, and delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. Duties Perform bathing, grooming, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other pet grooming services with precision and care Monitor dogs during their daycare stay, ensuring proper handling and safety at all times Assist in training dogs using positive reinforcement techniques to promote good behavior Handle animals with gentle restraint and care to prevent injury or stress during grooming or playtime Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and daycare areas to ensure a hygienic environment Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and progress Assist with pet sitting duties when needed, including feeding, walking, and providing companionship Requirements Prior experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments Experience working as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for bathing tubs or moving supplies Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Must be reliable, energetic, and passionate about providing exceptional pet care services Join us in creating a joyful environment where pets feel loved and cared for!
