Job Summary We are seeking a full time dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare & Kennel Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for dogs while ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout the day. You will interact with dogs of various breeds and temperaments, facilitating playtime, feeding, and overall care. Your love for animals and commitment to exceptional service will help create a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure safe interactions. Provide daily care including feeding, watering, and administering medications as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility by regularly cleaning kennels, play areas, and equipment. Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management. Assist in training sessions or activities that promote good behavior among the dogs. Communicate effectively with managers and superviosors regarding their dog's activities and any issues that arise. Handle heavy lifting associated with moving dog supplies or cleaning equipment. Ensure all safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for pets. Evening shifts available. One weekend day shift required Qualifications Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of dog handling techniques and behavior is essential, but can be learned on the job, as we provide both hands-on and DVD-based employee training. Skills in pet grooming or basic veterinary care are a plus. Communicate with Daycare Manager and shift leaders Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in the role. Experience in dog training or pet sitting is beneficial, but not required. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is crucial. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. Once hired, we provide a standard weekly schedule that does not change.
