Job Description

Are you looking to start or continue a career in animal care? Are you a dog lover looking to earn money working with dogs? Get your experience with Camp Bow Wow Westlake as a Camp Counselor! You will learn in depth about dog behavior and get lots of doggy kisses at the same time! Wage is $13/hr after completing training (usually 2 weeks). We also offer benefits (health/dental insurance, 401(k)) as well as the luxury of bringing your pup to work with you!
  • Upon completion of training and pending your pup meets the basic requirements to attend camp.
  • Full-time, part-time
  • Job duties include, but not limited to: Supervising groups of dogs at play and cleaning up after them.
Cleaning boarding cabins and play yards. Bathing dogs. This job requires an extremely dependable, level-headed person with a good work ethic, love of dogs, good sense of humor, and ability to give attention to detail. This job is very physical, requires much standing/walking, and ability to handle dogs jumping up on you and barking. Experience working with dogs is a plus, but not a requirement. You must answer the screener questions to be considered for an interview. Serious inquiries only, please! Must be at least 18 years of age.
Pay:
$11.00 - $14.00 per hour
