Experienced Pet Care Professionals for Pet Sitting & Dog Walking for a few positionsMultiple Scheduling Options Available Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and passionate Pet Sitter / Dog Walker to join our team . As a Pet Sitter / Dog Walker, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of pets and provide them with the exercise and care they need. This is a great opportunity for individuals who love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors. Positions/Availability 7-10am (at least 1-2hrs during this time) 11-3pm (at least 1-2hrs during this time) 4-6pm (at least 1-2hrs during this time) 7-9pm- Can combine positions/timeframes for more work/clients!
Responsibilities:
- Travel from client to client
- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring they get the exercise they need
- Reinforce basic obedience training during walks
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care
- Clean up after dogs during walks
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the client/company
- Care for cats and other pets as instructed including but not limited to feeding, medication, providing fresh water, scooping litter box, attention and exercise, cleaning up after pets, etc…
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding their pet's care
- Maintain accurate records of visits, including time spent and any notable observations via our easy to use client management system
Experience:
- Previous experience working with animals, such as in a kennel, pet sitting, or veterinary setting or other animal setting is preferred
- Knowledge of pet care and/or dog walking tools training techniques is a plus
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with pet owners
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must have a genuine love for animals and a desire to provide them with the best care possible
- Physical stamina to walk for extended periods of time and handle dogs of various sizes
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to specific guidelines provided by pet owners
Compensation:
Per visit rate: $9 per 15min visit, $10 per 20min visit, $10.50 per 30min visit and for 45min/60min/hourly the range is $16- 18 per hour depending on experience and availability +.
