Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Horse Trainer to join our dynamic team dedicated to equine excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for training, handling, and caring for horses to enhance their behavior, performance, and overall well-being. Your expertise will help develop well-mannered, confident horses while providing exceptional care and training that aligns with our commitment to animal welfare and client satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of horses and contribute to their growth and success. Duties Follow customized training programs for horses based on their individual needs and goals Handle horses safely during training sessions, ensuring proper restraint and care at all times Conduct positive reinforcement training techniques to promote desirable behaviors and improve obedience Assist with veterinary procedures, including basic health assessments and routine care, ensuring animal safety and comfort Maintain detailed records of training progress, health status, and behavioral changes for each horse Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with potential adopters about training plans, progress updates, and care instructions Skills Extensive equine experience with a strong understanding of horse behavior and handling techniques Proven skills in equine training, equine handling, grooming, and animal care to support diverse client needs Knowledge of horse behavioral modification techniques and positive reinforcement training strategies for equines of all kinds Ability to perform animal restraint safely while managing heavy lifting when necessary during equipment handling or stable chores Excellent client communication skills to educate horse owners on training methods, behavioral support strategies, and ongoing care This role is perfect for someone who is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to enhancing animal welfare through positive training methods. Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
