Highland Energy is seeking a dependable and skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to help maintain our facilities and equipment. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure our locations remain safe, functional, and well maintained. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with general maintenance experience who is comfortable working independently, traveling between locations, and handling a variety of maintenance needs. What You'll Do Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facilities, systems, and equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and other maintenance issues. Complete general facility repairs, including plumbing repairs, replacement of electrical components, minor HVAC repairs, painting, and structural repairs. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including power outages, water leaks, equipment failures, and safety hazards. Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and costly repairs. Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery used for maintenance work. Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment and systems. Maintain accurate work orders, repair records, and maintenance documentation. Coordinate with store management, other maintenance team members, vendors, and outside contractors as needed. Help maintain the overall appearance, safety, and condition of company facilities. Follow applicable safety procedures, company policies, codes, and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous maintenance technician or similar maintenance/repair experience preferred. Technical or vocational training in a maintenance-related field is a plus. Valid driver's license. Ability to travel between company locations as required. Knowledge & Skills Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems preferred. Experience maintaining and supporting fuel dispensing equipment and point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred. Proficiency with common hand and power tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance. Knowledge of safety procedures related to facility maintenance. Ability to perform work involving lifting, climbing, bending, and working in a variety of conditions.
