Our mission is to provide exceptional care and a luxurious experience for every pet that stays with us. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Dog Care Attendant to join our team at Canine Republic Dog Resort in Plano, TX. This role is vital in ensuring our canine guests receive top-quality care and attention, reflecting our commitment to excellence and pet happiness. Experience preferred but not mandatory. Responsibilities and Duties Provide attentive care and supervision for dogs staying at the resort which includes the following. Assist with dog daycare, handling, and grooming to ensure a comfortable stay. Monitor health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns to management staff. Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas. Support pet feeding, exercise, and enrichment activities. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs. Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless pet care experience. Prior experience with dogs or animal handling is preferred. Knowledge of pet grooming, training, or veterinary procedures is a plus. Strong customer service skills and a caring attitude. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Excellent communication skills. Passion for animals and dedication to their well-being. High school diploma or equivalent required. Certification in pet first aid or animal care is advantageous. Punctuality and reliable transportation are a must.
