Job Summary Silver Spur K9 Academy is a premium dog training company specializing in structured board and train programs, puppy foundations, and obedience training. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Dog Trainer to join our growing team. Our trainers work hands-on with dogs enrolled in our programs, helping them develop obedience, confidence, manners, and real-world reliability. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about dogs, enjoys teaching, and wants to grow with a professional training company. Duties Train dogs through structured obedience programs Teach and reinforce commands such as: Sit Down Stay Place Recall Heel Leash manners Impulse control Door manners Follow individual training plans for each dog Track and document daily progress Provide consistent handling and clear communication Build confidence and improve behavior through proper training techniques Prepare dogs for successful owner handoff sessions Maintain a clean, safe, and organized training environment Work closely with the team to maintain consistent training standards Qualifications Previous dog training experience preferred Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language Comfortable handling dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments Reliable, punctual, and professional Patient, motivated, and willing to continue learning Able to follow a structured training system

Position Details:
