Our climate-controlled open-play playrooms offer dogs endless opportunities to play, learn new commands, and make new friends, all under the watchful eyes of trained Canine Coaches. We strive to ensure every dog leaves happy, fulfilled, and eager to return for more fun. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Canine Coach for our Dog Playroom to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and engaging with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering a positive environment. Your enthusiasm for animals and excellent handling skills will help create a fun, safe, and enriching experience for every pup that walks through our doors. Duties Supervise dogs during play sessions, ensuring safe interactions and proper behavior Engage dogs with positive reinforcement training techniques to encourage good manners Monitor dog health and behavior throughout the day, recognizing signs of stress or discomfort Assist with dog handling, restraint, and grooming as needed to maintain cleanliness and safety Educate pet parents about dog socialization, behavior cues, and care routines Maintain a clean and organized playroom environment by cleaning up after dogs and disinfecting equipment Support pet care activities such as feeding or administering medication under supervision when required Experience Previous experience in dog training or handling is highly preferred Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a strong plus Background in pet grooming, pet sitting, or kennel work demonstrates valuable animal handling skills Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and animal care best practices is advantageous Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet parents Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist with dog handling or equipment setup Join us in creating a lively and loving environment where dogs can thrive!
