FRIDAY NIGHT - SUNDAY NIGHT ONLY
At Doggie Daze Kennel, we pride ourselves on providing a safe, clean, and stress-free environment where every dog receives individualized care and attention. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Kennel Attendant who genuinely enjoys working with dogs and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility. This is a physically active, hands-on position that requires someone who can work independently, stay organized, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Every day is different, and no two dogs are alike, so flexibility and strong observational skills are essential.
Responsibilities :
Provide daily care, feeding, and exercise for boarding and daycare dogs. Ensure a clean and safe environment for all animals in our care. Interact with clients effectively, managing communications in person, by phone, and via email. Maintain accurate records, complete boarding forms, and administer medications as necessary. Monitor the health and behavior of pets, identifying any signs of stress or illness. Supervise pets during outdoor activities and ensure their safety and enjoyment. Adhere to strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols for all kennel areas. Working independently while managing time efficiently and completing tasks without constant supervision.
Qualifications :
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be 16 years of age or older. Experience or comfort working with animals. Must possess reliable transportation. Must be available to work holidays, as these are our busiest boarding periods. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions carefully.
