Job Description

We're looking for skilled stylists in the Oakland area for our new wonderful salon, Sweetroots Salon + Dry Bar!

Job Type:

Part-time for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Base wage of $18.00 per hour + commission + tips Must have a upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettably fun and exciting experience for each of our clients. Ability to listen to and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction. Providing a professional and luxurious shampooing, blow-drying, and styling experience to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all services meet high-quality standards. Maintain cleanliness of the salon. Operating the Point-of-Sale software system. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere. Keeping work-stations and salon clean. Scheduling client appointments both in person and over the phone. Demonstrating and selling hair care products.

Qualifications:

Current license from the CA Board of Barbering & Cosmetology Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.
