Duties Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, and coloring using industry best practices. Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments, client management, and sales tracking. Maintain strict sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas regularly. Consult with clients to understand their desired outcomes and provide expert recommendations on hair care products and treatments. Upsell salon services and retail products to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue. Manage client communication effectively to ensure a positive experience from consultation through service completion. Stay current with industry trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and product innovations. Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of work. Knowledge of hair coloring techniques, color theory, and the use of various styling tools. Experience with hair extensions application and maintenance is highly desirable but not required. Familiarity with salon management software. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build lasting client relationships. Ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently in accordance with health regulations. License in Cosmetology from an accredited program is required; at least 3 years experience behind the chair required. Excellent communication skills.
