Utilize salon software such as GlossGenius to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to sanitation protocols and ensuring all tools and workstations are clean and sterilized. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer expert advice on hair care products, and upsell suitable services or retail items. Stay current with the latest trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, barbering, and makeup to provide innovative looks. Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair care, color theory, store management practices, and customer service excellence. Manage client communication proactively to build lasting relationships and ensure a positive salon experience. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry. Strong knowledge of hair care products, hair coloring techniques, hair extensions, and makeup application. Skilled in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and articulate styling options clearly.
