Professionals must possess a strong foundation in cosmetology and barbering, with a flair for creativity and an eye for detail. As a Hair Stylist, you will provide exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients. Your expertise in various techniques and products will help enhance our clients' beauty and confidence. Duties Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions. Utilize straight razors and other tools effectively to achieve desired styles. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations. Stay updated on current trends in hair styling, color theory, and makeup application. Promote additional services such as eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair threading through upselling techniques. Skills Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles and practices. Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including color theory and barbering skills. Experience with salon software systems, particularly acucity. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to perform retail math for sales transactions and inventory management. Experience in mentoring or training staff is a plus. Familiarity with sanitation practices to ensure client safety. Creative mindset with a passion for beauty trends and techniques.
