Duties Deliver a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, beard trims and shampoos Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon policies. Help maintain a clean salon Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to understand their needs, recommend suitable services, and upsell retail products confidently. Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, taking turns annswering the phone, and handling inquiries professionally. Help to build a supportive, positive and collaborative workplace Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of current beauty trends and techniques. Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships. Knowledge of retail math for upselling products. Ability to perform duties including standing for long periods of time. Willingness to learn new techniques including retail sales strategies, store management principles, and advanced styling methods.
