This is a fully on-campus teaching position working with students in our Skincare and Medical Aesthetics programs. The instructor will provide a combination of classroom education, demonstrations, and hands-on practical training. We're looking for someone with strong real-world aesthetics experience who enjoys teaching and can help students understand both the science behind treatments and proper hands-on technique. What You'll Teach Instruction may include: Skincare fundamentals, skin analysis, anatomy and physiology Facial treatments and advanced skincare procedures Infection control, sanitation, safety, and contraindications Chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and dermaplaning HydraFacial and other professional skincare systems Microneedling and regenerative aesthetic concepts Advanced aesthetic devices and technologies Medical aesthetics concepts and treatment planning Professionalism, client consultation, and industry best practices Business and legal considerations within the aesthetics industry Teaching assignments will be based on the instructor's experience, qualifications, and program needs. Responsibilities Teach classroom theory and hands-on practical lessons Demonstrate treatments and techniques safely and professionally Supervise students during practical services Evaluate student knowledge and practical competency Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records Provide feedback and additional support to students when necessary Maintain a professional, organized, and sanitary learning environment Reinforce professionalism, safety, client communication, and proper treatment protocols Prepare classrooms, equipment, and supplies for instruction Communicate student progress or concerns with academic leadership Participate in faculty meetings, trainings, orientations, and school events Stay current with developments and technologies within the aesthetics industry Required Qualifications Active Florida Facial Specialist registration or other qualifying Florida skincare credential Professional experience working in skincare or aesthetics Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, treatment safety, sanitation, and contraindications Comfortable performing and demonstrating hands-on treatments Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to manage and engage a classroom Ability to work full-time on campus in Pembroke Pines Strongly Preferred Experience with several of the following: 3+ years of professional aesthetics experience Experience with advanced skincare or medical aesthetics treatments Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience Experience working in a med spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or advanced aesthetics environment Previous career-school or postsecondary education experience Bilingual English/Spanish Previous teaching experience is preferred, but experienced industry professionals who demonstrate a strong ability to teach may also be considered.
