Role Summary The Medical Esthetician delivers advanced skincare treatments, including chemical peels, HydraFacial, SkinPen microneedling, dermaplaning, and custom facials. The role combines technical expertise with exceptional patient service to deliver personalized skincare solutions aligned with patient goals, in collaboration with the center's medical providers. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced skincare treatments with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Assess patient skin conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and educate patients on pre and post treatment care. Build trust and long-term patient relationships through education, customized recommendations, and follow-up on treatment progress. Promote skincare products, treatment packages, and VIP memberships, and meet established sales targets. Collaborate with medical providers to ensure the best outcomes for every patient. Maintain clean, organized, and stocked treatment rooms and tools. Document patient progress and update records after each session. Follow all medical, safety, and company guidelines, and participate in ongoing training. Assist with sales, front desk duties, and supporting the team as needed. Qualifications Minimum 3 years active Esthetician License in New Jersey. Advanced training and hands-on experience in chemical peels, HydraFacial, microneedling, dermaplaning, and customized facials. Strong understanding of skin anatomy and conditions such as acne, hyperpigmentation, and fine lines. Knowledge of medical-grade skincare products and their applications. Experience cross-selling services in a med and wellness spa setting. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Success Metrics Client retention rate (% of repeat patients) Skincare product sales revenue (average per treatment) Treatment plan conversion rate Patient satisfaction scores (referrals or patient feedback) Compensation Competitive base rate of $25•35/hr not including tips and commission, depending on experience and qualifications.
