Laundry Aide - Full Time Vasona Creek Healthcare Center Starting at $18-19 (DOE) Vasona Creek Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team full-time. This role is essential in helping us maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. Position Summary The Laundry Aide is responsible for the daily laundering of facility linens and residents' personal clothing, ensuring all items are handled with care, properly cleaned, and returned in a timely manner. Schedule Full-time Weekend availability may be required Key Responsibilities Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothing Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently Follow infection control and safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area Identify and report damaged items or equipment issues Ensure proper labeling and handling of residents' personal items Qualifications Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus) Ability to follow directions and work independently Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to lift, push, and pull laundry carts and supplies Must be reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive pay starting at $8-19 hour, based on experience Full-time benefits package Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth within the organization If you're a hard-working individual who takes pride in cleanliness and contributing to resident care, we'd love to hear from you!
