Duties Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment to process linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results. Perform dry cleaning procedures on delicate or special items using professional equipment and techniques. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies regularly. Assist with folding, stacking, and storing clean linens in designated storage areas for easy access. Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to coordinate laundry needs efficiently during peak times. Requirements Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques. Strong attention to detail to ensure all items meet cleanliness standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting laundry carts or heavy loads.
