Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, and guest clothing with care and efficiency Use chemical agents safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel procedures to ensure proper sanitation and disinfection Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to uphold hygiene standards Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and steam cleaners effectively and safely Follow hotel housekeeping management protocols including safety procedures, emergency protocols, and custodial standards Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen carts or cleaning supplies while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines Ensure all sanitation practices are compliant with health regulations and hotel policies for guest safety and comfort Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial/industrial cleaning environments Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques including floor care and maintenance Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while understanding safety data sheets (SDS) for proper chemical handling Skilled in operating various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures to respond appropriately in urgent situations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during linen or supply handling tasks Experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Join us in creating a clean, safe, and inviting environment where guests feel valued!
