Overview:
With your skill and talent, you'll bring our various stage shows to life as we aim to entertain our guests in all aspects of their visit! From executing a dance number to delivering a line just right, you'll bring the entertainment value our guests seek. Creating and/or impersonating licensed and non-licensed charactersLearning and memorizing scripts, dialogue, choreography, and blockingMaintaining show consistency and executing each performance as directedInteracting and engaging with guests to create a fun and enjoyable experienceMaintaining "show illusion" and belief of character at all times for our guestsCaring for and maintaining upkeep of costumes, props, and accessoriesMay require specific costuming and makeupAppearing at off property eventsMaintaining a clean and safe work environmentEnforcing all Six Flags New England policiesAssisting in other areas of the Entertainment department.Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Qualifications:
Previous dancing, singing and/or acting experienceStrong acting personality and presence, and ability to relate to children and families wellStrong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safetyAbility to interact in a professional and positive mannerAbility to work independently with little supervisionAbility to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time in costumeSense of funWilling to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAble to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language16 years old or older
