We're looking for an Assistant Manager to be the right hand of the owner and help run the salon like clockwork — with real ownership and real upside. What you'll do You'll be the person who makes sure every day runs smoothly: Two locations — run our Downtown LA salon on-site day-to-day, while remotely monitoring and supporting the Hollywood location (with occasional in-person visits as needed). Team & floor — manage staff schedules, cover shifts, and keep both salons calm, organized, and on-time. Hiring & onboarding — review applications, run interviews and trial days, and welcome new groomers with training and mentorship through their first weeks. Clients — handle questions and tricky situations with warmth, protect our quality standards, and keep clients coming back. Stock & orders — track inventory across grooming supplies and the retail shop, monitor sales, and place and receive supplier orders so we never run short. KPIs & growth — own the numbers that matter: rebooking rate, client reviews, and average ticket — and coach the team to hit them. Operations — open/close the salon, manage the register and daily takings, and keep everything clean, safe, and running to standard. Support the owner — step in when they're away and help push the business forward.
