Duties Proficiency in using sewing machines to alter, repair, or construct garments according to specifications Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines Follow safety guidelines and always company policies Ability to read and interpret patterns, sketches, or technical instructions Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under deadlines Collaborate with team members to meet customer deadlines Follow detailed patterns, sketches, or technical specifications provided by clients, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines Perform alterations, repairs, and finishing touches on various clothing items This is a full-time on-site role for a Seamstress, located in Lake Worth, FL. As a Seamstress, you will be responsible for altering, repairing, and tailoring garments according to customer specifications and measurements. Your day-to-day tasks will include sewing, hemming, mending, fitting, and customizing various types of clothing and fabric items. You will also collaborate closely with customers to ensure their exact requirements are met while maintaining high-quality standards in your work. Qualifications Proficiency in Sewing, Alteration, and Tailoring techniques Experience with pattern-making and garment fitting Attention to detail and precision in measurements and stitching Ability to operate various sewing equipment and tools effectively Good communication skills to understand customer expectations and provide excellent service Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects efficiently Previous professional tailoring or alteration experience is preferred A positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and a commitment to delivering customer satisfaction
