Creative Fabricator SCPS Unlimited Torrance, CA Job Details Part-time $23 - $30 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Fabrication Attention to detail Power tools Full Job Description Creative Fabricators / Model Makers Wanted We are looking for experienced, hands-on Creative Fabricators / Model Makers to join our team on a project-to-project basis at our South Bay studio. We are looking for well-rounded fabricators who are comfortable working across a variety of materials and processes. The ideal candidate can look at a design, drawing, or reference, figure out how to build it, and execute the work with minimal oversight . Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt as a build develops are important.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Creative fabrication and model making Strong problem-solving and build-planning skills Proficient with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and saws Woodworking and general shop fabrication Prop and scenic fabrication Mold making and casting Cleaning, assembling, filling, sanding, and prepping 3D-printed parts Paint prep and finishing Vinyl application Comfortable working with a wide range of materials and construction methods Ability to work independently and take a project from design/reference through finished build Strong attention to detail and quality Additional skills are a plus: Laser cutting Vacuum forming Sculpting Metalworking Spray finishing and specialty finishes If interested, please respond to this inquiry with your resume and if possible, your portfolio and/or pictures of samples of your work .
