In this role, you will be responsible for restoring and refurbishing furniture, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship through precise upholstery techniques. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional products that meet blueprint specifications and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of fabric materials, leather, and woodworking components, supporting both custom projects and large-scale production. Responsibilities Reupholster furniture pieces using manual cutting, sewing machines, power tools, pneumatic tools, and hand tools Perform repairs and maintenance of upholstery components, including fabric replacement and structural repairs Utilize woodworking skills for frame repairs or modifications as needed for upholstery applications Handle heavy lifting safely during the transportation and installation of large or bulky items. Conduct quality inspections to verify attention to detail throughout each stage of the upholstery process Requirements Proven experience in upholstery, reupholstering, or related manufacturing fields with a strong understanding of upholstery techniques Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specification documents Skilled in manual cutting of fabric materials with precision to ensure proper fit and finish Familiarity with sewing machines, sewing techniques, and sewing machine maintenance Knowledge of leather handling and working with various fabric materials for different applications Ability to operate power tools, pneumatic tools, woodworking equipment, and manual hand tools safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing Clean driving license is required for customer deliveries/pickups. Back ground check and periodic drug screenings will be performed.
