We are a small family-owned business looking to grow our team! We are looking to hire someone in either a Cutting/Sewing role or an Upholstery role. If you can do both - EVEN BETTER! Pay rate negotiable dependent on experience. The ideal candidate would have experience in any or all of the below: Furniture Upholstery or Manufacturing - in any capacity (We do both residential and commercial work) Fabric cutting and sewing Other relevant skills that translate to the upholstery trade In this role, depending on your capabilities to start, your main responsibilities would be cutting fabric, sewing, fitting, cushion refills, etc. and/or furniture upholstery (rebuilds, 8 way hand tie springs, apply fabric to furniture, apply finishing details such as gimp, nails, etc) Must be professional with clients and dress appropriately - our day to day attire is very casual - we will provide work t-shirts, long sleeves, and sweatshirt. You may be asked to assist with furniture pickups and deliveries and other general shop tasks including a main task of stripping (or removing fabric, etc) furniture down to the frame.

Responsibilities:

Cutting & Sewing and/or Upholstery Installing foam and batting to the furniture framework Installing and repairing furniture webbing and seating springs Conducting quality checks on completed orders Touching up frames, cleaning off completed projects, steaming furniture or cushions (as needed) Cushion refills

Requirements:

Team player Basic knowledge of tools Basic knowledge of sewing or upholstery Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects. Ability to stand, kneel, and walk for up to eight hours or more per day. Ability to pass background check (willing to discuss if you're honest with us)
