We are a family-oriented, full-service veterinary clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for pets and their families. We are currently seeking a motivated and caring Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient exams and treatments Safely handle and restrain dogs and cats during examinations and procedures. Prepare exam rooms, surgical areas, and equipment to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment. Monitor and care for patients before, during, and after surgery. Collect samples (blood, urine, fecal) and perform basic laboratory tests as directed. Administer medications and vaccines under veterinary supervision. Communicate with clients regarding patient status, preventive care, and treatment instructions. Support front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and answering phones.

Qualifications:

Previous veterinary or animal care experience preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong compassion for animals and commitment to their well-being. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods. Excellent teamwork and customer service skills. Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
