Overview Join our dynamic team as a Patient Hospitality Specialist, where your passion for animals and exceptional customer service skills come together to create a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for pets and their owners. Under direction of the Practice Manager, PHS position provides for the constant cleanliness of cages, runs and ward areas, exam rooms, reception, and treatment area. Acts as a helper to all staff to ensure the smooth running of the clinic and the clients and patients we serve and is a self-starter with attention to detail. Responsibilities Cleans and sanitizes all cages, runs, wards and related areas Keeps kitchen area clean and neat Clean, and straighten exam rooms, treatment and lab areas. Restock exam rooms with supplies as needed. Assist other staff members to keep the public areas of the practice clean and well maintained Assists surgical techs with pre and post op set up and cleaning Laundry Receives Inventory Completes daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checklists Fills Pharmacy Requests Other duties as assigned Abides by all OSHA regulations What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Friendly, compassionate, and customer-service focused. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to: Use cleaning materials and equipment with skill and efficiency Perform moderately heavy physical labor Learn to recognize abnormal conditions Understand and carry out oral and written directions as well as math calculations Maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or related medical field.
