Our Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant team plays a critical role in helping pets and their people during urgent, high-need moments. What You'll Do As a Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant , your day may include: Triage and assessment of urgent and emergent cases Obtaining patient histories and assisting with client communication Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluids and IV medication administration Running in-house Idexx bloodwork and digital radiology Bandaging, wound care, and hospitalized patient care Monitoring patients under sedation and anesthesia Surgical preparation and assistance Client education and discharge instructions And much more—no two days are the same!
