You will be responsible for the care and well-being of the animals in our facility as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position will include split shifts on weekdays (morning and afternoon) and weekend availability is required, therefore it is preferred that the candidate live within a 15-20 minute radius of Danielsville. Previous experience working in a veterinary office or kennel is preferred. Job Duties include, but are not limited to: Feed and water animals and administer medications/treatments as directed by the doctor. Clean and sanitize cages, runs, and yards. Wash pet bedding, toys, and food bowls. Watch for changes in animal health or behavior. Monitor all occupied cages to ensure animals are clean, safe and comfortable at all times. Requirements True passion and care for animals. Meticulous cleaning and sanitation skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow strict instructions. Ability to self motivate and stay focused. High dependability and a strong work ethic. Must be able to work split shifts (mornings and afternoons) on weekdays. Must be able to work weekends. At least 2 years of continued employment of your last two jobs. A working interview will be conducted before an offer is made.
Pay:
