ASSISTANT

Phoenix Veterinary Surgical Specialists is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This is a hands-on position supporting our ICU, recovery, surgical patients, and client care . We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team, and understands that the little things make a big difference in patient care. What you'll be doing: Assisting with ICU and recovery patients Monitoring and caring for hospitalized patients Maintaining clean, organized kennels and treatment areas Communicating with clients and helping provide a positive experience Assisting the nursing and surgical teams as needed Helping with daily patient care and hospital tasks Wearing many hats and jumping in wherever the team needs you We're looking for someone who: Has a strong work ethic Proper restraint with canine and felines Ready to jump in wherever they are needed Is dependable and takes initiative Is comfortable in a fast-paced veterinary environment Has excellent attention to detail Works well with both patients and people Can stay calm and productive when things get busy Takes pride in keeping the hospital clean, organized, and running smoothly If you're looking to be part of a family-owned veterinary specialty hospital where every team member plays an important role in patient care, we'd love to hear from you! Pay:

From $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
