$17-$21/hour based on experience and skills Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA is hiring Veterinary Assistants to join our Emergency, Surgical, and Medicine teams. This full-time Veterinary Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build veterinary skills while working alongside experienced veterinarians and credentialed technicians in a specialty animal hospital. Join a Level 1 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital where you'll support high-acuity patient care, grow your clinical skills, and make an impact every shift. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare, disinfect, and maintain treatment areas, exam rooms, and equipment Laundry, dishes, and restocking supplies Provide safe and compassionate restraint during patient examinations and procedures Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians throughout the patient visit and treatment process Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical or emergency veterinary environment Strong communication skills and attention to detail Team-focused, collaborative mindset with willingness to learn Fluent English speaking and reading skills required Did you know?
