What You'll Be Doing Our Veterinary Nurses are an integral part of patient care and hospital operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited too: Patient assessment, history-taking, and triage Assisting veterinarians with examinations and treatment Venipuncture and IV catheter placement Anesthesia monitoring and surgical preparation Surgical assisting and patient recovery Dental procedures including charting, scaling, polishing, and dental radiographs Laboratory sample collection and processing Radiology and diagnostic procedures In-house laboratory equipment Medication preparation and pharmacy responsibilities Patient treatments and nursing care Safe and compassionate restraint and handling Client communication and patient education Accurate medical record documentation Surgical instrument cleaning, sterilization, and room preparation Maintaining a clean, organized treatment environment Patient discharge and client education Supporting doctors and fellow nurses throughout the day Helping wherever needed — because we're a team We're Looking for

For this position, we are specifically seeking an experienced veterinary nurse/technician . Minimum 2+ years of veterinary nursing/technician experience preferred Veterinary Technician/Nurse program graduate preferred CVT/LVT certification is a plus, but not required Strong anesthesia and surgical experience preferred Dental experience preferred Comfortable with venipuncture and catheter placement Comfortable working independently while knowing when to ask for help Physical Requirements Ability to safely lift and handle approximately 40 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Ability to safely restrain and handle dogs and cats
