The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is self-motivated, willing to take on reponsibility, and eager to learn all aspects of the veterinary profession. Good communication skills are a plus. Job duties include assisting veterinarians and registered technicians during exams, treatments, and diagnostics, as well as nursing care. This position will also involve miscellaneous other duties such as answering phones, entering computer data, cleaning of exam rooms and kennels, as well as stocking of supplies. Benefits are available based on part or full-time status.
