Town and Country Animal Clinic is a small animal and equine veterinary clinic seeking a self-motivated and outstanding part-time veterinary technician/assistant.

The ideal candidate:

Has excellent room etiquette. Excellent attention to detail. Have a working knowledge related to current veterinary topics - like vaccine protocol, flea products, veterinary procedures and surgeries. Have a working skill set related to client education, animal restraint, animal care, blood draws and catheter placement, dental prophylaxis, monitoring anesthesia, surgery prep and anesthesia with surgery. Willingness to assist with receptionist duties when necessary. Equine experience a plus but not required. Flexible Schedule is a must. At LEAST 1 year of work in the veterinary field. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, provide excellent customer service while educating clients and maintain a clean and sterile environment.'

Pay:

$15.55 - $19.00 per hour
